Customers travelling to Queenstown, New Zealand are advised:

• A boil water notice is in place for businesses and properties across Queenstown Lakes District following a number of confirmed local cases of illness caused by the protozoa, cryptosporidium.
• Sofitel Queenstown has taken action by installing and commissioning a sophisticated triple filtration and bottling system (heavy particle, chemical and UV) and is able to provide sanitised water fit for human consumption via sanitised glass bottles to each room per day, but also via a self-service dispenser in our lobby and also through our two kitchens.
• It is expected for the boil water notice to be lifted in early December 2023
