Inspired by the tradition of the artists, writers and philosophers who frequented the Parisian bistros in the Latin Quarter during the sixties, the Left Bank Bistro provides a delightful ambiance for breakfast.

Monday to Friday 6:30am – 10:30am

Saturday and Sunday 6:30am – 11:00am

 

Live the French Way

With a dose of old world tradition and nostalgia, a Kowhai yellow rope-tie is ceremoniously wrapped across the bistro’s padlock each evening, symbolising the end of another day. This charming space seats up to 70 and can, at request, be transformed into a themed venue by night. Contact us for more information.

The chef

Executive chef Jorg Penneke, is focused on bringing a touch of French elegance combined with the best of local produce. Born and raised in Germany and passionate cook from a young age, he was classically trained in Europe and has lived and worked around the world and is now settled in Queenstown with his family.
