Chef Lindsay Bennett

Sofitel Queenstown Hotel & Spa’s very own Executive Chef, Lindsay is highly accomplished with a rich culinary background. He began an extensive apprenticeship in the NZ Armed Forces, has worked in hotels and local restaurants, and has also ventured into owning and operating an award-winning restaurant. The former New Zealand Chef of the Year has an unwavering commitment to showcasing exquisite flavours of the region. Lindsay artfully combines the bountiful produce of central Otago with a mature, modern style, whilst still embracing traditional techniques.


Chef Gianni Delogu

Executive Chef Gianni has been leading Sofitel Adeliade’s Garcon Bleu team since the restaurant’s inception and is responsible for bringing their food philosophy to life. Hailing from Sardinia in the Mediterranean, Gianni’s love affair with food began from childhood. He honed his skills in Michelin-starred restaurants across the UK, Europe and Asia before settling in Adelaide. Gianni draws inspiration from visits to local vineyards and regions which is reflected in his simple yet elegant menus. He appreciates and celebrates the incredible quality and variety of produce within South Australia.
