Inspired by the tradition of the artists, writers and philosophers who frequented the Parisian bistros in the Latin Quarter during the sixties, the Left Bank Café provides a delightful ambiance for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Left Bank Cafe’s fresh, flavoursome bistro-style gastronomy blends the best of New Zealand and France and caters to all – at every meal service, a special selection of low-calorie De-Light choices and imaginative vegetarian items are available. Executive Chef Jorg Penneke is the talent behind the delectable menu.
Breakfast Monday to Friday 6:30am – 10:30am | Saturday & Sunday 6:30am – 11am
Lunch 12pm – 4pm
Dinner 4pm – 9:00pm
With a dose of old world tradition and nostalgia, a Kowhai yellow rope-tie is ceremoniously wrapped across the café’s padlock each evening, symbolising the end of another day. This charming space seats up to 70 and can, at request, be transformed into a themed venue by night. Contact us for more information.
